Life Preservation Model Systems — Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2026

Life Preservation Model Systems ("LPM Systems," "we," "us," "our") is provided by The Moore Resource & Strategy Group (MRSG). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service").

1) What we do

LPM Systems is designed to support life preservation, prevention, intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization. It is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number).

2) Information we collect

We follow data minimization—we collect only what we need to operate the Service safely and reliably.

A) Information you provide

Depending on how you use the Service, you may provide:

  • Report details (what happened / what may happen, where, when)
  • Contact info (optional), such as name, phone, or email if you choose follow-up
  • Messages you send through the Service
  • Any information you include in free-text fields (please do not include sensitive personal information you don't want shared)

B) Anonymous reporting

If the Service offers anonymous reporting, we do not require you to provide your name to submit a report. However, true anonymity can be affected by technical factors (like device/network logs), so we still design the Service to avoid collecting identity data unless needed.

C) Location information (only if you choose)

If you opt in, we may collect:

  • Approximate location (e.g., city/area), or
  • Precise location (GPS) when you explicitly allow it for safety or response coordination

You can turn location permissions off in your device settings at any time.

D) Voice, audio, and accessibility features (only if enabled)

If the Service includes voice features, we may process:

  • Audio input (e.g., speech-to-text) and/or
  • Audio output preferences (text-to-speech)

We only process audio when you choose to use those features.

E) Device and usage data

We may automatically collect:

  • IP address, device type, browser type
  • Log data (pages viewed, time stamps, actions taken)
  • Crash/error data to improve reliability

F) Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies/local storage to:

  • Keep you signed in (if accounts exist)
  • Remember preferences
  • Measure usage and improve performance

You can control cookies in your browser settings.

3) How we use information

We use information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Provide prevention guidance and support workflows
  • Route reports to the appropriate response pathway (if the Service includes routing)
  • Communicate with you if you request follow-up or create an account
  • Protect users, the public, and the Service from misuse and threats
  • Comply with legal obligations

4) How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information in these limited cases:

A) With service providers

We may use trusted vendors (hosting, analytics, security, messaging) who process data only to help us run the Service and under confidentiality obligations.

B) With partners you choose or where the Service requires coordination

If the Service includes referrals or coordinated support (e.g., community partners, clinicians, outreach teams), we may share the minimum necessary information to support stabilization and follow-up—especially if you request help.

C) For safety and legal reasons

We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to:

  • Address immediate threats of serious harm
  • Protect rights, safety, and security of users and the public
  • Comply with lawful requests or legal processes

5) Sensitive information

Because this Service relates to safety and conflict situations, reports may include sensitive content. We ask users to avoid including:

  • Social security numbers, banking details
  • Detailed medical records
  • Information about minors beyond what's necessary for safety

If such information is submitted, we will handle it with care and limit access.

6) Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for:

  • Safety follow-up and continuity of care
  • Operational integrity and documentation
  • Legal, audit, and accountability needs

Retention periods may differ based on the type of record and risk/safety factors.

7) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is 100% secure, but we design to reduce risk and limit access.

8) Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Request access to information associated with you
  • Request correction or deletion (where feasible and lawful)
  • Opt out of certain communications
  • Control location and device permissions

9) Children's privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. If we learn we collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it where required.

10) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post updates here and revise the effective date.
